Rediculous Stamp June 8, 2007
So with the new postage rate increase came a new postcard rate stamp. The only design available- a blue panther.
Postcards have become a popular way to save on invitation costs. As far as postage you would want to put on your wedding invitations, this is horrible. Typically, I like the nature stamps. But this one looks like it’s straight from the cutting room floor of some crappy sports team mascot designer. I definitely recommend looking into the custom stamps (zazzle.com) if you want something half-way nice.
That being said, I am not such a snob that I am opposed to using the panther stamp. Although custom stamps look very nice, they are more than twice as much as regular postage. And when it comes down to it, no ones life will be altered if the response postcard has an ugly stamp.
