Hilary came to me with a budget, a location (a vineyard) and pretty much one requirement for her invitations- “fun”. And I lucked out and she liked my first design. Fun invitations tend to be my favorite. And I am normally not a purple person at all but I really liked how these 2 purples looked together.
The vellum envelope gives you a sense of the grapes right away. The invitation itself is folded at a perforated line. When the invitation is unfolded, you can see the leaves at the top of the grape bunch. The perforated line is to detach the response card. And we did a simple vellum information insert to keep costs down.
